Justin Bieber, the pop star, was intrigued by her cover of Etta Jam's "At Last", and shared the song with his more than 25 million followers on Twitter. After media coverage She signed a record agreement with Island Records and was also offered a management deal with Bieber's manger. Beer was also featured in the small role of David Duchovny in Louder Than Words. It debuted at the festival in 2013. Beer's debut single, the poppy and melismatic "Melodies" was released late in 2013. Her debut solo EP As She Pleases in the year of 2018. "Home with You" reached the Top 30 in Norway while the EP made it to half the Billboard 200. The same year, Beer released the non-album single "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
